2026 Patronal Festival

Thank you!

The festival on 5th July was great – here are some memories
With thanks to everybody who contributed to a wonderful day on 5th July, everyone who came and everyone who cleared up. Here are a few memories of the day including some musical videos from the Churchyard and also the service itself (and Helen’s finger!).

This was the original invitation
We are delighted to qualify for some funding to run a community event and special Patronal (early) evensong on 5th July 2026. Please save this date, and spread the word.
We will celebrate the ‘anniversary ‘ of our patron saints, St Peter and St Paul. This year, we are reinstating our Choral Evensong, which will be a beautiful service held probably at 6pm. Our King is keen that this is a practice which he would love to see across our parishes again.
The probably final schedule is (we’ll update it here if it changes) …
- 3pm to 4.30pm Strawberry tea in the church grounds and Ecochurch/Messy church activities.
Please bring your own chairs and picnic blankets – we aim to put up gazebos in case of the weather … - 6pm choral evensong led by the Archdeacon. Followed by Prosecco reception.
If anyone can help with putting up the gazebo’s (likely to be 7.30am on the day) and also help with serving and clearing up we’d be very grateful, please let us know (and thank you).
This will be a free event and we really want to make it a special day for the whole community. People do not have to stay for the whole event, but we would love to welcome anybody for those parts they feel comfortable with.
Speak to Emily or Alison (07538 400346/07962 001669) if you’d like to be involved or want more details.
For a copy of the flyer (the image above, as a PDF) that is also being advertised around Seal please see here.
